Role:
The Marketing Information Analyst is responsible for developing, managing and optimizing our marketing analytics efforts. The position provides advanced analytical assistance by independently identifying marketing data opportunities and turning insights into action. Duties include product, service, and member data analysis; campaign reporting and analysis; data mining and trend identification; survey development and oversight; targeted list development; dashboard and reporting implementation and maintenance; member persona development and more.
Success in this role requires an ability to gather and synthesize information to thereby leverage insights to help grow brand awareness and new customer segments, engage and retain members and increase the Credit Union's competitive position. It will be essential that the analyst serves as a thought leader with the ability to communicate with credit union executives and has proven results in delivering technical information to non-technical audiences.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Identify, manipulate and analyze disparate data to assist with member retention, member growth, loan growth, cross-selling, new product development, trend identification and other opportunities. Provide and report actionable insights that translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations. Recommend targeted marketing campaign actions and communications that drive business results.
Oversee and administer enterprise-wide survey program; Use data, internal feedback and insights to continually improve and deliver targeted, meaningful surveys to members and employees. Prepare actionable insights.
Track, analyze and report on campaign and marketing tactic performance. Utilize insights to serve as a dynamic member of the Data Strategy Group and provide business data intelligence that informs and improves results.
Develop and implement marketing personas. Establish deep understanding of member segments and ongoing preferences.
Build, maintain and report on dashboards for various products, services and credit union membership. Provide on-going analysis and data mining to uncover opportunities.
Develop and maintain targeted lists for marketing and credit union objectives. Develop an intimate knowledge of all enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and ability to serve as a resource.
Conduct and lead sophisticated projects and/or market research involving diverse groups and credit union leadership. Provide written analysis as to make data-driven decisions for the credit union and marketing initiatives.

- Provides prompt, professional, responses to all requests for information using excellent written and verbal skills.
- Provides timely and relevant recommendations for improvements in products, processes, and services.
- Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three to five years of experience with financial institution is preferred.
Experience with spreadsheets and relational databases, surveys and other statistics tools required.
Education: Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly and effectively. Must be able to think proactively, analytically and strategically. Must be able to work independently and also as a team. Must be able to share information and results with all levels of the organization with accuracy and composure. Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
