Description
You will help develop original survey research that showcases McKinsey’s distinctive knowledge and expertise in important management topics.
You will also be a consummate collaborator and project manager. You will ensure that your projects are completed, approved, produced, published and promoted in a timely and effective manner. You will act as both thought partner and service provider, working with authors to refine the main ideas and hypotheses for their research, create survey questionnaires, set up and launch surveys with third-party support, review survey results and identify noteworthy findings, produce strong drafts of survey reports and manage the timeline and complex logistics of each survey project from start to finish.
As part of your role, you will also be responsible for initiatives to increase the McKinsey Global Surveys program’s reach with audiences and to expand and engage the proprietary panel that participates in many of our surveys. Over time, you’ll develop an active professional network within the firm - in particular, build relationships with practice managers and knowledge experts. You will stay current on business news and trends and have an appreciation of audience-engagement practices and digital analytics.
Please submit a resume, cover letter and no more than three writing samples (only business-related articles, please). Your cover letter should include a succinct (~200 words or fewer) answer to the following question: What do you like about McKinsey’s Global Survey content, and what are areas that you think could improve and why? Please be candid and specific. Follow this link to begin your application: https://www.mckinsey.com/careers/search-jobs/jobs/senioreditor-surveys-52226
