Company Profile

Yale Program on Climate Change Communication

Company Overview

The Yale Program on Climate Change Communication conducts scientific studies on public climate change knowledge, attitudes, policy support, and behavior, and the psychological, cultural, and political factors underlying them. We conduct public opinion surveys, message experiments, statistical modeling, and field tests at local, state, national, and international scales. Some of our recent work includes the Yale Climate Opinion Maps, a partnership with the Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center, and our twice-yearly nationally representative survey of Climate Change in the American Mind.

We also develop communication strategies to more effectively engage different audiences in climate change science and solutions. We consult for and partner with governments, the news media, educators, companies, and advocacy organizations. We also produce Yale Climate Connections – an online climate news service and a daily, 90-second radio program on climate science and solutions broadcast on more than 245 stations nationwide.
